  • Role: New Scientist Program mentor, restructure program to better support and empower students of color in sciences

Sept. 2013 – May 2015: Inertia: Investment in Scientists of Color Initiative

  • Program Purpose: Initiative ran across Brown University administrative offices (Dean of the Faculty, Dean of the College, Office of Institutional Diversity) in an effort to better support black students pursuing science degrees
  • Role: Founder, leader, partnered with Undergraduate Council of Students to submit a written resolution to Brown University
